Meet Bennett Kawata DDS

Dr. Bennett Kawata was born and raised in the West Los Angeles area where he attended Venice High School. He pursued his undergraduate studies in biology at Loyola Marymount University and in 1988 earned his DDS degree from the USC School of Dentistry.

Dentistry runs in Dr. Bennett's family, with his father, brother, and sister also being accomplished dentists. Following in the footsteps of his late father, Dr. Sakae Kawata, who established a highly respected dental practice, Dr. Bennett joined the family legacy. Working alongside his late father, he had the invaluable opportunity to learn from a seasoned professional and mentor, gaining insights into the art and science of dentistry.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Bennett finds joy in exploring new destinations and cultures, indulging in auto sports, fishing, and golfing. He cherishes spending quality time with his loved ones, be it family or friends. Dr. Bennett and his "Foodie" wife, Sandra, embark on culinary adventures during their travels and find pleasure in experimenting with flavors and cuisines at home.
